Russian ruler restricts Nordwind’s flight certificate

MOSCOW, Mar 25 (PRIME) -- The Federal Air Transport Agency has limited the flight certificate of Nordwind by flights of less than 60 minutes to reserve airports, but the carrier will continue its operations taking into account this restriction, the authority said in a statement on Monday.

The authority limited the flights after an extraordinary check in February.

“Airline Nordwind will be able to carry flights, taking into account the restriction of airline certificate. The restriction is unrelated to the financial and economic state of the company and is targeted at increasing the level of flight safety,” the ruler said.
